Zhi Lin: Tracing Chinese Workers’ Footsteps to Promontory Summit

Exhibition March 23, 2019 – June 15, 2019

This art exhibition features art by an artist who has tried for more than a decade to trace the history of Chinese workers in the western United States, especially those who worked to build the first Transcontinental Railroad, which was completed at Promontory Summit, Utah (just 32 miles from the museum). Both representational and abstract works of art explore the lost experience of those workers.
