The 2020 Photography Competition at the Brigham City Museum of Art & History will run from September 12 - November 14, 2020.
This year's theme is Changes.
The Brigham City Museum of Art & History invites you to marvel at its latest exhibition, “Contemporary Illustration”, which will run from September 7 through November 16. From whimsy to gritty, this exhibition is nothing like any other previously seen at the museum.
The exhibition features Eisner winning artists Jill Thompson and Gene Ha, industry giant Sal Velluto, visionaries Jon Wasson, Chuck Pyle, and Patric Reynolds, and local favorites Ned Young and Mark Meyers.

This special competition and exhibition will celebrate the 60 year legacy of Utah Designer Craft Alliance, formerly known as Utah Designer Craftsmen. Artists employed fiber, wood, glass, clay, metal, stone, or any mix of these media to create their entries. John Neely, professor of art and ceramics at Utah State University, serves as the jurist for the competition.

This exclusive exhibition brings together quilts from around the world to showcase what is possible in the world of fine art quilting. Quilts will come from Japan, South Africa, England, the United States of America, and many places in between.

Zhi Lin: Tracing Chinese Workers’ Footsteps to Promontory Summit features paintings by an internationally-acclaimed artist, Zhi Lin, who has spent more than a decade attempting to trace the history of Chinese workers in the western United States, with a special focus on railroad workers. Zhi’s breathtaking works of art for this exhibition include both representational and abstract pieces that explore the lost experience of those workers.
