Uncovering the Journey: Japanese American Pioneers in Box Elder County

February 15th- June 21st, 2025

Come explore the rich history of Box Elder County’s Japanese American community.

Discover the untold stories of early agricultural settlers, local war heroes, and pioneering civic leaders.  Engage with stories of family, culture, injustice, and resilience.

Curated with ongoing input from the local community since 2022, this exhibit highlights the lasting impact of Japanese Americans on Box Elder County’s culture and history.

Don’t miss this unforgettable experience, only on display from February 15th- June 21st, 2025.

Teachers! We’ve created comprehensive guides in collaboration with this exhibit to help you connect your classroom with the exhibition. These resources can be used to prepare your students before the visit or to foster engaging discussions during and after the experience. Additionally, the museum offers a printed student guide and/or scavenger hunt for all visitors.
